India’s northeastern state of Nagaland has purchased parametric disaster insurance from SBI General Insurance Co. Ltd. to safeguard its critical infrastructure against the impacts of natural catastrophes, Artemis reported. Munich Reinsurance Co. and General Insurance Corporation of India Ltd. have provided reinsurance for the parametric cover.
