RCMP have tallied up illegal drugs and cash seized earlier this month during raids in Saskatoon.
An investigation including officers from the federal police service’s serious and organized crime unit led to Aug. 1 searches of two homes and two vehicles near Shillington Crescent in Saskatoon’s Eastview neighbourhood, according to an RCMP media release issued Tuesday.

Saskatoon city police tactical support officers, crisis negotiators and intelligence officers were also involved.
Items seized in the searches include some 26 kilograms of methamphetamine, about one kilogram of heroin, nine kilograms of cocaine, a kilogram of MDMA, more than 1,000 Xanax pills, psilocybin mushrooms and about $43,000 in cash.
A 39-year-old man is charged with two counts of cocaine trafficking and one count of possessing more than $5,000 in proceeds obtained by crime.
A 31-year-old is charged with one count each of trafficking methamphetamine, cocaine, MDMA and psilocybin.
Police continue to investigate.
