- Zenless Zone Zero’s 1.1 update is here
- It features new agents, story events and more
- There’s also the new Inferno Reap challenge for even greater rewards
Hot off the heels of its massive global release, Zenless Zone Zero’s 1.1 update has been released. There’s a bevvy of changes in this patch to MiHoYo’s latest game, and the urban sci-fi action isn’t set to quit any time soon. So, what does 1.1 have in store? Let’s dig in and find out, and be sure to check in on the nitty-gritty details over on the official Zenless Zone Zero site.
The biggest addition is a new story episode with Undercover R&B, which is, of course, yet another musical reference in a game already building itself more on the urban environment than MiHoYo’s other releases. This episode also comes alongside playable S-Rank Physical Anomaly Agent Jane Doe, whose relationship with characters Zhu Yuan, Qingyi (who’s also joining the roster as an S-Rank Electric Stun character), and Seth (an A-Rank Electric Defense ) will be the subject of much of the story in this update.
Aside from that, there’s also the addition of the new Inferno Reap challenge to Hollow Zero. Once you’ve completed the Withering Garden stage and related commissions, you can take on Nineveh in a limited-time challenge with a wide range of rewards up for grabs.
This city’s on the edge
Zenless Zone Zero has already proven to be a spectacularly popular game and marks MiHoYo going three-for-three in terms of the success of their recent releases. It stands in stark contrast to the lacklustre performance of Supercell’s Squad Busters, and it seems as if while one titan of mobile is growing stronger, another is on shaky ground.
