The Arkansas State Athletics Department has announced its full lineup of game themes, sponsors and promotional giveaways for its six home contests at Centennial Bank Stadium during the Red Wolves’ 2024 football season.
All six A-State home games during the upcoming season will be played on a Saturday, including its home and season opener against in-state foe Central Arkansas on Aug. 31. There will be Arkansas State football schedule magnets provided free to the first 1,500 fans through the gates for the 6:00 p.m. game, presented by St. Bernards.
The Arkansas State esports team, established in 2019, will have video-game consoles featuring EA Sports’ College Football 25 available for students to play on the student deck, which has been rebranded this year as the Patio at the Pines. Fans will also have their first opportunity to see Howl back on a Harley Davidson to lead the Red Wolves onto the field throughout their 2024 campaign.
Playing its first two outings of the season at Centennial Bank Stadium, A-State will be back in action Sept. 7 for its Paint the Stadium Red game against American Athletic Conference member Tulsa at 6:00 p.m. Fans are asked to where red for the contest, which will conclude the Jonesboro Chamber of Commerce’s traditional Paint the Town Red week.
The first 1,000 fans entering the stadium will receive a free cap, co-branded with the Red Wolves and presenting-sponsor Greenway logos. There will be more than 500 high school band members perform with the Sound of the Natural State as part of Band Day. A-State esports will be back on the Patio at the Pines, where students can once again challenge members of the esports team in College Football 25 game.
Arkansas State’s 2024 Homecoming Game, presented by Big River Steel, is set for Oct. 5, when the Red Wolves will play their Sun Belt Conference opener against South Alabama at 6:00 p.m. In addition to recognizing its 2024 Homecoming Court during halftime, A-State will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of its Alumni Association throughout the day.
Courtesy of SERVPRO, replica Arkansas State youth-sized jerseys will be presented to the first 1,000 fans through the gates who are age 12 years or younger.
Arkansas State’s fourth home game of the season will be presented by multiple Ag Day sponsors and celebrate the important role agriculture plays in the lives of all Arkansans. The Red Wolves’ 6:00 p.m. contest against Troy on Oct. 26 will also be recognized as Education Day and feature a special recognition of the Extra Yard for Teachers grant winners.
Earlier this year, A-State announced plans to honor the milestone 50th anniversary of women’s sports at the school throughout the 2024-25 academic year. Prior to the game against Troy, the Athletics Department will host a special tailgate in Dustin White Realty Tailgate City with many of its current and former female student-athletes, coaches and staff. As part of the year-long celebration, the first 1,500 fans through the gates will also receive a decal of the 50th anniversary logo.
A-State’s 2024 Hall of Honor class will be recognized during the Oct. 26 game, which will also serve as A-State’s Staff Appreciation Day. All staff members and their families will have access to the top level of the Patio at the Pines.
Presented by Barton & Company and featuring a Heroes Day theme in honor of military personnel, veterans, first responders, healthcare workers and many others for their service to our country and communities, A-State’s Nov. 23 game versus ULM will provide special ticket promotions to those groups.
There will be a recognition of the campus’ Army ROTC Hall of Heroes and an in-game commissioning ceremony. During the game, a free roof by Southern Roofing will be presented to a local veteran in need. A-State is also inviting Jonesboro youth football teams to attend the game, where it will recognize the various league champions.
Coca-Cola is the presenting sponsor for A-State’s home finale on Nov. 30, when the Red Wolves’ will face Old Dominion on their Senior Day and Fan Appreciation Day at 2:00 p.m. There will be in-game prize giveaways from Coca-Cola, and the first 1,500 fans will receive a t-shirt with the Runnin’ Howl logo on it.
A-State football season tickets may be purchased by calling the Red Wolves Foundation at 870-972-2401, online by visiting AStateRedWolves.com/Tickets or via the A-State athletics App.
With the Athletics Department prioritizing mobile ticketing, an important feature of the A-State Athletics App is mobile-ticketing options making it possible for fans to buy, manage and transfer tickets from the A-State Ticket Office. All tickets, including premium areas, will be mobile in 2024. Printed tickets will be available in advance at the A-State Ticket Office in First National Bank Arena or on game days at Centennial Bank Stadium’s main ticket windows.
Season parking passes will be physical once again this year, but mobile parking passes will also be available for the first time. Mobile parking passes can be accessed in the same location as mobile tickets on the A-State App, and both can be added to Apple or Google wallet. Parking passes can be transferred in the same manner as tickets as well.
Among season ticket options, a Family 4-Pack promotion exists that includes four tickets in the upper east stands for just $149. The Athletics Department also recently announced it has created a football season tickets referral program, providing special benefits to anyone responsible for referring someone else who purchases new season tickets. Details, including benefits, about the referral program can be obtained by clicking HERE.
