U.K.-based specialty insurer Canopius Group Ltd.’s profit after tax increased 53% year-on-year to $179 million in the first half of this year, Reinsurance News reported. Written premium grew 23% year-on-year to $1.8 billion, while its net insurance revenue increased by 24% year-on-year to $980 million.
