Container transportation from the Chattogram Port to Kamalapur inland container depot in Bangladesh has come to a halt due to the suspension of freight train operations amid student protests and curfew, significantly affecting port operations, Bangladesh Post reported. The suspension of rail transport following the imposition of an indefinite curfew has caused significant losses for shipping agents and import-export business, with nearly 250 export-bound containers currently stuck at Kamalapur depot.
