Vicky Pattinson has lifted the lid on the struggles of having two friends compete against one another for Strictly’s coveted Glitterball Trophy.
Ahead of the show’s return to BBC, the Geordie Shore alum, who has also starred on Ex on The Beach and I’m A Celebrity, admitted: “I’ve done my fair share of reality TV and I would never say never to anything.
“You know this is my job and it is an incredible platform, but I’m not a dancer. I’m not a dancer at all.”
On Pete Wicks’ addition to the star-studded line-up, Vicky shared: “Like when I found out Pete was doing it, the first thing I did was ring him and see if he was OK.
“Because me and him are more like stand in the corner, drink and have a laugh than you know, centre of the dance floor people.”
“And he was saying he was really nervous, and I think that’s how I’ll be,” the 36-year-old added.
Although she admitted that she would also be “really nervous,” Vicky teased: ”I don’t know if it’s for me, but like never say never.”
Speaking to The Sun, she continued: “I will be supporting Pete this year, 110 percent or hopefully in the audience.”
However, the reality star added: “I feel a bit conflicted because I also love Tasha Ghouri as well.”
Vicky and Pete have remained good friends after meeting in the showbiz industry in 2016.
The Strictly hopeful previously opened up about his close bond with Vicky and shared his unusual role at her upcoming wedding to Ercan Ramadan.
The 36-year-old told The Mirror: “Vick is one of my best mates, I adore Vick – and it’s important to be part of the wedding so I’m going to be a flower girl.
“Which is weird – I’ve never done that before. Not entirely sure how that will go but I’m excited about it and I’m so happy for her getting married because she’s had a tough time and she’s one of the most beautiful people inside and out.
“So yeah, I’m really excited for that. But I don’t think I’d make a good flower girl – I’m a bit nervous about it.”
