Netizens were quick to notice that Tara’s hair stylist recently shared an Instagram story tagged in Bangalore, featuring two telling hashtags: “#toxic” and “#teamTara”.
The post quickly went viral after being shared on Reddit, leading many to believe that the actress had indeed joined the project. The authenticity of the post is yet to be officially verified.

There were reports earlier that Tara Sutaria had been approached to play Yash’s love interest in ‘Toxic’. However, the actress had previously dismissed these claims.

To clarify the same, the actress took to her Instagram stories, and penned, “Hello all! The articles released over the last few days about a project and I are false and not shared by me. Whenever there is something to share, I will share it with all of you! My love always. PS – Nobody is second to anyone.” Her statement was seen as a response to reports labeling her as the “second love interest” in the film.
Toxic is touted to be a gritty gangster drama set against the dark and intense backdrop of the drug mafia. Directed by acclaimed Malayalam filmmaker Geethu Mohandas, the film promises to showcase Yash in a never-before-seen avatar.
