Sharon Osbourne has made quite the statement while attending Taylor Swift’s Saturday night The Eras Tour show in London.
The reality TV star, 71, is no stranger to being outspoken, and her most recent statement is not only topical, but one many Swifties may agree with.
Attending night three of Taylor’s second round of London shows at Wembley, the Celebrity Big Brother star was spotted in a white sweater begging the Grammy winner to try her luck in the presidential race.
Sporting her usual red hair, a pearl necklace and matching earrings, the star grinned as she posed in the jumper, which read ‘Taylor For President 2024’.
The US presidential race is currently in full swing, with Democratic leader Kamala Harris and Republican leader and former President Donald Trump both campaigning for a seat in the White House.
The election is due to take place on November 5, 2024.
Sharon is one of many A-list celebrities to be spotted at Taylor’s Eras Tour shows in recent weeks. Popular actor Idris Elba joined the crowd on Thursday along with One Day star Ambika Mod, Chicken Shop Date host Amelia Dimoldenberg and actress Jameela Jamil.
Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran joined the singer on stage for a special performance to her 92,000 person strong crowd also on Thursday.
The long-time friends playing a medley of Taylor’s song Everything Has Changed from her 2012 album, Red, and End Game from her 2018 record, Reputation, both of which Ed helped co-write and sing.
They also played an emotional acoustic rendition of Ed’s 2014 track Thinking Out Loud.
Following their performance, fans began theorising who else may make an appearance during her London shows, with many convinced Post Malone would take the stage on Friday night.
The theory was spawned on social media after eagle-eyed fans saw a typewriter symbol featured on posters beside the Friday show date.
Taylor and the star, real name Austin Richard Post, collaborated on the song Fortnight from her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, and included multiple typewriters in the music video.
However, despite the strong theory, the singer did not welcome her friend on stage. She did, however, debut a new bedazzled bodysuit as part of the Midnights era.
The Zuhair Murad costume featured multiple sparkly moons and was accessorised with her signature knee-high sparkly boots and a garter belt.
Taylor will take a brief break from the stage tomorrow night before returning on Monday and Tuesday in what will be her final London shows before returning to North America.
The Eras Tour is believed to have grossed over $1.04 billion, making it the highest-grossing music tour in history.
It began on March 17, 2023, and will conclude on December 8, 2024. In total, Taylor will have performed almost 150 shows on five continents.
