Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury are said to have been suffering problems in their relationship for a while, it’s been claimed.
The Love Island stars, both 25, revealed last week that they were ending their five-year relationship in a shocking announcement.
The pair got engaged in July 2023, after meeting in 2019 on the ITV dating programme, and now share one-year-old daughter Bambi together.
In recent days, while both have remained quiet on social media, reports over their relationship ending have emerged, including claims Tommy ‘cheated multiple times’ – which his rep has denied.
Sources have now claimed their split was a ‘long time coming’ after Molly-Mae reportedly grew tired of Tommy’s ‘gallivanting around the world while she was looking after their child’.
The former boxer has in recent months been in Dubai and across Europe, while Molly-Mae had spoken about ‘solo parenting’ in recent vlogs.
An insider added to The Mirror: ‘Problems had been growing for a while. Increasingly, it seemed like they were living two very different lifestyles.’
This comes after allegations that Tommy was seen partying with and kissing a Danish woman in North Macedonia on a recent trip, while Molly-Mae was at home with Bambi.
A source recently told The Sun: ‘He was downing Grey Goose vodka and didn’t seem to care who saw him with the girl. He kissed her.
‘This will be heartbreaking for Molly-Mae.’
A spokesperson for Tommy told Metro.co.uk: ‘Tommy is horrified by the false allegations of cheating being circulated by the media and he’s consulting his lawyers.’
Just months ago, Tommy was also pictured partying in UAE for the F1 Grand Prix with Chris Brown, where a video was shared shared across the internet appearing to show one woman squeezing the boxer’s cheeks, though he seemed to shrug her off and look away.
The pair have yet to further address their split, with Molly-Mae announcing last week: ‘Never in a million years did I think I’d ever have to write this.
‘After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.
‘I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end.
‘I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter.
‘Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority.
‘I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years. You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it’s right to share this with you all.
‘Whilst I attempt to navigate the coming days and weeks please kindly respect my privacy over this difficult time, I’ll be back when it feels right. Molly-Mae x.’
Tommy also wrote on his Instagram story: ‘I am heartbroken to share that Molly and I have decided to end our relationship.
‘The past five years have led to us having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi and I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad.
‘Bambi is our priority.
‘Please respect our privacy, and our families’ privacy, as we navigate our way through this difficult time.’
Metro.co.uk has approached reps for Tommy and Molly-Mae for comment.
