The second day of the Democratic National Convention kicks off with a new theme focused on “A Bold Vision for America’s Future.” Popular Democratic leaders are expected to take the stage later this evening, including former President Barack Obama, former first lady Michelle Obama and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.
Second gentleman Doug Emhoff will also be among the Democrats addressing the Chicago crowd tonight, as well as at least one anti-Trump former Republican lawmaker, Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) and former Trump White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham.
Meanwhile, ahead of her Thursday DNC speech, Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz will hold a rally in Milwaukee today.
