Alliant unveils commercial surety unit, names exec

Alliant Insurance Services Inc. Wednesday launched Alliant Commercial Surety and named Senior Vice President Orlando Aguirre to lead the unit.

Based in Houston, Mr. Aguirre will build the national commercial surety platform, Alliant said in a statement.

He joined Alliant in August 2021 as senior vice president. Prior to that, he was senior vice president with Marsh LLC in Houston, where he was responsible for all surety operations for Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma, the statement said.
