- HomeRun Clash 2: Legends Derby will introduce its first additional, and original, character
- Zoe Star is a cheerleading baseball player who makes her return from the first HomeRun Clash
- She boasts a unique ability that boosts her HP when it falls under 50%
HomeRun Clash 2: Legends Derby is set to bring back one of the fan-favourite characters from the original. Zoe Star, a suitably cheerful-looking cheerleader, will be the first original character to join the game as well as the first new addition overall.
While it may be a little bit disappointing for some new arrivals who were hoping for HomeRun 2 to stick close to its roots of being a more realistic, down-to-earth title featuring real players, Zoe’s addition will probably be equally as pleasing for long-time fans. She also comes replete with her own unique ability that’s sure to help, and baffle, players.
Zoe’s unique ability Cheer Up allows her to increase her defence when her HP drops below 50%. The update also provides a number of optimizations and tweaks to existing players, as well as the addition of more ways to earn Club XP.
Baseball, to the death
I hadn’t even clocked that HomeRun Clash 2 features versus matches. I knew baseball was brutal, but Good Lord. In any case, I’m sure some people will grouse about the addition of a more cartoony character to a game initially sold on the appeal of having some real-life faces attached to it. But you can hardly blame Haegin for wanting to add a little something to appeal to fans of the first HomeRun Clash.
