The body of a Markham woman who went missing earlier this month has been located in cottage country, and three youths are in custody in connection with her death.
Yuk-Ying Anita Mui, 56, was last seen on Aug. 9, and her white Mercedes SUV was later found abandoned near Finch Ave. E. and Warden Ave. in Scarborough.
Three days later, OPP officers discovered the burnt remains of a human body on a property in McDougall Township, just north of Parry Sound.

The coroner later identified the remains as belonging to Mui.
As part of the investigation, police arrested three youth they say were in possession of Mui’s property.
A 17-year-old Whitby male faces numerous firearms and fraud charges, while a 17-year-old male from Toronto faces three counts of fraud under $5,000, and a 16-year-old male from Toronto faces charges of fraud and failure to comply with release conditions.
Police are also looking for a white 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter cargo van that investigators say transported Mui.
Anybody who saw or has CCTV images of the van near 3821 Vandorf Sideroad in Whitchurch-Stouffville or in Parry Sound between Aug. 9 and Aug. 12 are asked to call police.
The investigation continues.
York Regional Police are scheduled to hold a press conference at 11 a.m.
