The U.K. Maritime Trade Operations and Greece’s shipping ministry said the Greek-flagged oil tanker Sounion, operated by Delta Tankers Ltd., was adrift in the Red Sea on Aug. 21 after repeated attacks by Yemen’s Houthis rebels that started a fire on the vessel and caused it to lose power, Reuters reported. The ship was hit with multiple projectiles about 77 nautical miles west of Yemen’s port city of Hodeidah. The ship, which has sustained minor damage, is the third Delta-operated ship targeted by the militant group.
