Those living in or moving to Georgia may want to reconsider a job that involves a lot of work outside.
Lawn Love, a platform for outdoor services and information, conducted a study on the 50 states plus Washington, D.C., to determine the best and worst areas for outdoor workers. Georgia ranked in the bottom 10.
The rankings were calculated based on five categories including safety, employment and benefits, worker protection and safety, medical access, and environmental stressors. They were broken up into 26 smaller metrics that were each given different weights. Overall scores were given to each area.
