I really don’t understand why, when Prime Minister Justin Trudeau shows up at picnics, exhibitions or various other events, some people are actually enthused to have selfies taken with him as if he is some kind of celebrity. It is sickening.
Does he think that this is all it takes for some gullible people to vote for him? Maybe so.
Do you think he would show up at the multitude of homeless camps or his approved so-called “safe drug” locations or some of the endless Palestinian protests for selfies? Don’t think so.

We don’t elect people to spend all their time and our money on special interest groups, ignoring their main responsibilities. Remember, there is only one taxpayer, and we expect politicians at every level to just do their jobs responsibly.

GOOD TO SEE, OCDSB
It was great to see even my former woke employer, the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, take a liberal democratic stand against those who have hijacked Pride for their own illiberal and anti-western agendas. Be proud, Pride, don’t let them use you like that.

FORD’S DRUG PLAN RIGHT WAY TO GO
Re: ‘System has not worked’; PCs put addictions treatment over failed ideas, Brian Lilley column, Aug. 21
I believe the Ford government’s plan to offer health and addiction support centres instead of safe injection sites is the optimum method.

One has to wonder why so many of the so-called “experts” keep proposing drug decriminalization and safe injection sites as the only solutions.
It makes one wonder if it’s related to job security rather than actually helping addicts go clean.
