Windsor police are searching for a male suspect who robbed a convenience store at knifepoint Aug. 9.
Police say a man entered a convenience store in the 1600 block of Tecumseh Road East just before 1 a.m. on Aug. 9, selected some items and attempted to pay with a debit card.
When the card was declined, the suspect allegedly brandished a knife and ordered the clerk to open the cash register.

The suspect stole money and cigarettes, among other items, and then fled the scene.
Police say no one was physically injured during the incident.
They describe the suspect as a white man, approximately six-feet tall, with facial hair. He was wearing a camouflage hoodie with a black jacket over top, blue jeans, white shoes and sunglasses.
He was also carrying a black backpack.
