Bleach: Brave Souls, the 3D action game adaptation of the hit anime and manga series, has once more hit a major download milestone. At 95 million, developer KLab has unleashed a new wave of player rewards. But what exactly is driving this new wave of downloads? Well, I reckon I’ve got an inkling.
But first! What are these rewards? Well, for a start, from Saturday, August 31st to Thursday, September 19th you can get 10 free summons every day for up to 10 days. Until September 30th, you can also grab a Battle Ready 6 Star Summons Ticket, while the 95 Million Downloads Power-up set will also be available; featuring Coins, Crystals, Jewels and more.
Naturally, there’s also boosted summon rates for high-level characters during this period, and a whole lot more!
Why more Bleach?
As for why Bleach: Brave Souls has suddenly seen a boost in popularity, I reckon it’s due to two things. For one the new Thousand Year Blood War arc, which was a follow-up series after the main manga ended, is still receiving its new anime adaptation. And now, many young fans who grew up with the series as one of the first major shonen to really capture an international audience are now adults, which means they’re more willing to shell out the cash.
For better or worse, even more than ten years after its release, that means Bleach: Brave Souls has suddenly shot forward in terms of downloads, and developer KLab certainly aren’t about to squander this newfound success.
