One of the most enjoyable parts of Disney Dreamlight Valley is cooking, especially when you unlock a new ingredient and experiment with different combinations to see what works. The End of Summer event brings this to the next level by introducing marshmallows, which you’ll use to share and savor some deliciously sweet desserts.
How to finish the Savor Some Sweetness duty in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Completing the Savor Some Sweetness duty requires making and eating marshmallow dishes during the End of Summer event. The two recipes include roasted marshmallows and s’mores, which are both four-star meals requiring two marshmallow types.

Much like Share Some Sweetness, you’ll need to make 25 marshmallow dishes for this task. However, rather than sharing them with other villagers, you’ll eat them all yourself, giving you a massive energy boost and cosmetic reward once you savor all 25 meals.
How to find marshmallows in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Marshmallows are an ingredient available exclusively during Disney Dreamlight Valley’s End of Summer event. From September 4 to 26, you’ll find marshmallows in bushes and on the ground in most biomes, which you’ll use to cook various recipes. They’ll only appear during this three-week period, meaning you won’t be able to finish these Dreamlight duties until the event begins.
Making both dishes requires collecting pink and blue marshmallows. Pink marshmallows spawn in bushes that grow in the Plaza, while blue ones randomly appear on the ground in the following regions:
- Plaza
- Peaceful Meadow
- Dazzle Beach
- Forest of Valor
- Glade of Trust
While you won’t see them during August, they’ll begin spawning in these areas on September 4, giving you plenty of opportunities to collect both marshmallow types. However, it’s currently unknown whether the plants will grow immediately after entering the game or if there are pre-requisite quests for unlocking them.
