Neowiz’s cute cat-raising and feline-collecting game, Cats & Soup, is set to celebrate three years since its launch with the introduction of a special, fan-created cat. The celebrations begin today and run until September 30th, so there’s plenty of time for you to grab all the amazing new rewards that this anniversary event offers!
Chief among these rewards is the introduction of the new limited-edition cat Twilight Angora. Selected from a variety of fan submissions, Twilight Angora will be available only for a short time to mark the event’s passing.
But just by logging in you’ll still get rewards with the new Baby Kitty and Cat costumes allowing you to dress your cats in matching outfits. There are also Star Macarons, Gems, Furniture Coins, Pudding, Fruit Tarts, as well as regular and special Observatory Tickets available for log-in rewards.
Collectible cats
While in my heart of hearts, I know that the collectathon aspects of games like Cats & Soup are just as pernicious as any gacha game, I have to admit I think I prefer the design of this game over many others.
Still, while I’m always sceptical about collecting in-game currencies and whatnot, at the very least this anniversary event is a good chance for new and continuing players alike to grab some of these goodies with minimal effort on their part.
