West Manchester Township Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that injured a woman early Sunday morning, according to a news release.
The crash happened around 3:51a.m. Aug. 25 on Carlisle Road in front of Chili’s Grill & Bar at Delco Plaza, police said.
Police found the woman lying in the road, the release states.
She told police she was riding an electric scooter before the impact. Officers searched the area and found the scooter about half a mile away on Route 30 at Kenneth Road, the release states.
The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment, police said.
Police have not released her name at this time “out of respect for her and her family,” the release states.
