A Texas police officer has been killed and two others injured in a shooting in Dallas, according to reports.
The incident is believed to have taken place on Thursday evening in the Oak Cliff area of the city.
The suspect is then reported to have led police on a high-speed chase to Lewisville, where he was fatally shot, according to The Dally Morning News.
Dallas Police Department wrote on X, formerly Twitter: “Dallas Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting. Media staging area will be across from Methodist Central on Colorado.”
BREAKING: 1 of the 3 Dallas officers shot in the South Central division tonight has died.
Another officer is critical and the third is expected to be ok.
The suspect was shot and killed in Lewisville after a chase.
