Com2uS top gacha RPG Summoners War: Sky Arena is set to continue its collaboration with one of the top shonen series worldwide, Jujutsu Kaisen! A special collab mission will run from today until September 30th. You’ll be able to earn a whole host of themed rewards as you duke it out with your favourite characters from the series!
Jujutsu Kaisen follows the teenage Itadori Yuji, who ends up discovering a world of sorcerers when he accidentally eats a cursed finger (don’t ask). Unfortunately, that also means he’s now marked for death, as said fingers hold the spirit of the ancient demon Sukuna. Fortunately, Itadori gets a stay of execution to attend Jujutsu Academy, to attempt to find the remaining fingers and eliminate Sukuna once and for all.
In-game the collab has expanded to let you grab Engraved Scrolls and L&D Scroll if you manage to complete the challenge of collecting 100 Cursed Crystals weekly. You’ll also be able to meet iconic JJK characters as arena rivals and fight them in mock battles.
Gotcha
Having only been relatively familiar with Jujutsu Kaisen, I was surprised to find out the series would be wrapping up relatively quickly when it was announced only a few weeks ago. So it’s no surprise Summoners War has chosen to expand this collaboration to take advantage of the surge of interest, although for fans this may be cold comfort as they wave goodbye to their favourite characters.
