In connection with an ongoing voyeurism investigation, Saskatoon police laid a raft of charges against a 35-year-old man on Thursday.
The suspect, who was already in custody at the Saskatoon provincial jail, is charged with 49 Criminal Code violations, city police said in a news release on Friday.
His name was not released.
The charges include 37 counts of voyeurism, four counts of prowling by night, three counts of breaching probation, two counts of intimidation and one count each of criminal harassment, possession of stolen property under $5,000 and sexual assault.

He is scheduled to appear in provincial court on Sept. 10.
No further details about the case were released.
Police are reminding the public to be vigilant in taking precautionary measures. They recommend:
- ensuring your property is secure and shades or blinds are installed on all windows for privacy;
- regularly checking that door and window locks are secure;
- being mindful of your surroundings in public places and of any suspicious activity;
- accompanying children into public washrooms for added safety.
