Re: Federal Court agrees to hear case over public servants’ mandated return to office, online, Aug. 30
So the good folks at PSAC have won the right to have their case heard in court as to whether they can be forced like slaves back into the office for a whole three days a week.
I think the government should counter with, “If you want to fight us on this and you lose, it will be five days a week,” and let’s see if the members still want to go ahead with a totally unjustified fight with their employer.
Maybe they can hire CUPE’s Fred Hahn as part of their crackerjack legal team to garner even more public support.

TRY A LITTLE RESTRAINT

That’s a pretty aggressive agenda Ottawa council will be attacking now that it is back from summer vacation. The sound you hear is taxpayer dollars being flushed down the toilet. After all, the council has never shied away from wasting money on pie-in-the-sky projects.
What I and probably most taxpayers would like to see is a little restraint in the spending. Perhaps present a plan to the public for reducing spending? Special-interest groups, and, yes, that means you, too, Ottawa Senators, should be told, “There’s no money for you.”
Keeping property tax increases at two per cent, plus or minus a bit, has to be the most asinine idea ever presented to the public. If the finance department agreed to that, well, they should be replaced. If you want us to have the Cadillac services, we have to pay the Cadillac prices. Unfortunately, we can only afford a Smart Car!

HOW MUCH MUST WE ENDURE?
Surely there has to be a limit on how much Canadians can take. Two Trudeaus is more than any nation should have to endure. Sunset cannot come soon enough for the worst, most divisive prime minister in Canadian history. It is unfortunate that Canada does not have a three-dollar bill that could feature the face of our phoney prime minister.
Say goodnight, Justin. You will not be missed.
