Saskatoon police are working to identify a female cyclist who was killed in a collision with a vehicle along a busy roadway.
Patrol officers responded Sunday around 8:45 p.m. to reports of a collision at 22nd Street and Avenue K. According to police, officers located a woman lying on the ground, “suffering from life-threatening injuries.”
She was rushed to hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased.

Police said after their preliminary investigation, members of the collision analyst unit believe that at the time of the collision, the vehicle was being driven in the far right westbound lane of 22nd Street West, while the cyclist was eastbound in the westbound lanes of 22nd Street West.
Anyone with information that may help identifying the woman killed is asked to contact police at 306-975-8300.
