A 34-year-old man has been arrested following an assault that left a woman in critical condition.
Police responded to a report of an injured person n the 2700 block of Pillette Avenue just after 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
A critically injured woman was being treated by paramedics. The 36-year-old woman was transported to hospital where she remains in critical condition.

Police said their investigation determined the woman was assaulted following an argument with an intimate partner inside a vehicle.
When the woman exited the vehicle, it is alleged the man sped away, knocking her to the ground.
Officers located the suspect at a residence in the 5400 block of Reginald Street.
The man has been charged with aggravated assault, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm and leaving the scene of an accident.
Police said the suspect cannot be named to protect the identity of the woman.
