Strictly Come Dancing will return to screens at 7.20pm on September 14, the BBC has confirmed.
The cast for the upcoming 20th anniversary season was announced in recent weeks, after a list of the professional dancers taking part was also shared.
This year, the likes of Towie’s Pete Wicks, comedian Chris McCausland, Love Island contestant Tasha Ghouri, Go Compare singer Wynne Evans and JLS singer JB Gill are competing for the glitterball trophy on BBC One.
They’ll be joined by DIY SOS star Nick Knowles, former footballer Paul Merson, 80s music icon Toyah Willcox, BBC Morning Live star Dr Punam Krishan and former England hockey player Sam Quek MBE.
Completing the line-up are Gladiators athlete Montell Douglas, Olympic swimmer Tom Dean, EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick, The X Factor winner Shayne Ward, and Miranda actress Sarah Hadland.

When does Strictly Come Dancing 2024 start?
The launch show for Strictly will be recorded in advance of this year’s live shows on Wednesday, September 4.
Hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will be kickstarting the new season with judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse as they welcome 15 brand new celebrities to the ballroom.
The pairings will also be revealed then.
The BBC revealed the date on its official website, allowing fans to sign up for tickets for this season with a random draw.
Can you still get tickets to go to Strictly 2024?
Tickets are no longer available for the launch show (applications closed on July 30).
However, the draw for tickets for the subsequent 13 shows is still open.
Fans can apply for a maximum of one pair of tickets, which are non-transferable.
Shows will be filmed on Saturdays throughout September, October, November and December, with the first on September 21.
Most will be filmed at Elstree Film Studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.
When are the Halloween, Blackpool and Christmas specials?
The Halloween special will be filmed on Saturday, October 26, while the Blackpool one will be filmed at the Blackwood Tower Ballroom on Saturday, November 16.
Tickets for this year’s Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special will be allocated in a separate random draw.
When is the final of Strictly 2024?
The 2024 Strictly final will be recorded on Saturday, December 14.
Is It Takes Two returning?
The companion show, Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two, is also expected to return.
First airing in 2004, it is broadcast weekdays during the run of the main show on BBC Two at 6.30pm.
Who won Strictly Come Dancing 2023?
Former Coronation Street star Ellie Leach won the 2023 season of the show alongside pro partner Vito Coppola.
The runners-up were Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin and Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell.
The Strictly Come Dancing launch show will air on BBC One on September 14.
