Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince has finally landed on Android and iOS

The wait is finally over as Square Enix has just announced the release of their latest title, Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince, on Android, iOS, and PC. The RPG has been on the Nintendo Switch for a while, and it has finally been ported onto other platforms.

What’s more, these editions come with all of the DLCs in addition to the main storyline that is part of the Digital Deluxe Edition. It is now your turn to master the power of evil.

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince takes place in the world of Nadiria and revolves around Psaro, the Demon Prince. He has been given a curse that prevents him from harming any monsters. So, he embarks on a journey to become a Monster Wrangler, an individual who is capable of employing and fighting alongside monsters. As you progress through the game, you will embark on a quest for revenge, find new monsters, and take place in epic battles.

Given the name of the RPG, there’s bound to be a tonne of different monsters. You will unlock over 500 distinctive creatures along your journey, including previous ones from the franchise, dark lords, and some brand-new beasts. Seasons play a massive role in Dragon Quest as you’ll find different monsters in the Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. On top of that, you can create new monsters yourself, which is quite a neat addition.

Besides these primary features, you can also enjoy all the DLC-related content, such as Coach Joe’s Dungeon Gym which is full of randomly generated content and Treasure Trunks which can be opened every hour to gain some valuable rewards. Finally, you can take part in the Mole Hole special dungeon which allows you to scout for previously befriended monsters.
