OUR CHOICES SHOULD BE BETTER
Article content
In order to be successful, the leader of a marginal political party needs an above-average amount of charisma and also the ability to articulate the party’s aspirations. Jagmeet Singh lacks those qualities, big time.
Initially, Justin Trudeau had such charisma, but his “sunny ways” vision for the future proved to be based on misleading, empty promises. If you ask him a straightforward question, you can’t expect a straightforward answer.
The major reason the Conservatives are leading significantly in the polls is the stomach-churning performance of Justin “Do-As-I-say-Not-As-I-Do” Trudeau. Pierre “Axe-The-Tax” Poilievre is a divisive naysayer with one overriding ambition: becoming the prime minister of Canada. If he has an all-encompassing vision for the future of Canada, I am not aware of it. Simplistic solutions for complex problems seem to be the foundation upon which his party has built its platform.

Unfortunately, Canadians have limited options, namely voting for the party with the leader they dislike the least.

LAUGHED OUT LOUD
I laughed out loud when I heard the prime minister say, “The other parties can focus on politics, I’m focusing on what I hear Canadians tell me they need.” Hello, have you been suffering from hearing loss for the past nine years? If your statement were true, the Liberals wouldn’t be sinking in the polls faster than a boulder in a pond.
All the prime minister needs to hear now is the sound of Canadians cheering at the thought he will hopefully be gone sooner rather than later.

THE SINGH ESCAPE
So Jagmeet Singh, has tossed in the towel on the Liberals, with whom he and his party have slept for several years. Trying to state how different his party is from the Liberals, he asks us to please ignore that the NDP voted with them so many times.
This is nothing more than an effort to escape from Justin Trudeau’s sinking ship. Please, Canadians, don’t fall for the rubbish he is spouting. Mr. Singh, you can’t remove the stink that easily.
