Georgia defensive back Daniel Harris was arrested by Athens-Clarke County Police on Thursday night for five misdemeanor charges, including reckless driving.
The sophomore was charged, per UGA Sports, with reckless driving, not wearing a seatbelt, operating an unregistered vehicle without a license plate, driving without proof of insurance, and having illegal window tint.
According to the incident report obtained by the Athens Banner-Herald, Harris was cited for going more than 100 mph while passing two other cars in rainy conditions.
The arrest continues a disturbing trend. Since offensive lineman Devin Willock and recruiting staffer Chandler LeCroy were killed in a street racing-related crash in January 2023, eople from the program have been arrested or cited for driving-related offenses.
