Singer-songwriter Josh Ross brings his Canadian country sound to Caesars Windsor Jan. 17.
An emerging star on the Nashville scene, Ross pulls influences from diverse musical genres and performers, including Guns N’ Roses and Metallica to country-rock outlaw Steve Earle.
The 28-year-old who was born in Burlington, Ont., leveraged his knack for emotional song writing and performing into a series of Platinum-certified top five Canadian country radio hits, after moving to Nashville five years ago.

The power ballad Trouble, rose to number one in Canada, leading Ross to a Canadian Country Music Association award for breakthrough artist of the year. He also earned a Recording Industry Association of America Gold certification in the U.S.
He has tallied more than 626 million career streams.
Ross toured alongside hard-rocking superstars like Nickelback, Brantley Gilbert, Luke Bryan and Bailey Zimmerman before headlining his Single Again Tour across the United States and select Canadian cities.
His new extended play, Complicated, was released March 29. Ross co-wrote seven of the project’s eight tracks. Single Again shows off his rich, edgy vocal set.
