Phillip Schofield has been pictured with a big smile on his face, and still wearing his wedding ring after separating from his wife.
The former This Morning presenter, 62, has largely remained out of the spotlight in recent months, with rare public appearances.
He’s now been seen on a lunch date with his daughter and a friend, and was seen smiling and laughing.
This comes more than a year after he quit the ITV programme and admitted to lying about an affair with a younger colleague on the show, and amid an alleged feud with co-host Holly Willoughby, 43.
The dad-of-two later resigned from ITV in full and gave just two interviews in the days that followed, with reports at the time claiming his wife Stephanie Lowe was ‘absolutely devastated’.
The former Dancing On Ice presenter also spoke about how Stephanie was ‘very, very angry’ when the news broke last year, but has been seen being supported by his wife and daughters since.
In new images, Schofield was pictured with his daughter Molly, and friend Scott Brown as they soaked up the sunshine with an al fresco lunch at the Ham Yard Hotel in London.
He seemed in high spirits, and dressed casually in a green hoodie and jeans, while Molly, 31, opted for a black sweater and sunglasses.
Schofield was also pictured wearing his ring, which he has done since coming out four years ago, having remained close with Stephanie after being married for more than 30 years.
This comes after rumours over his TV comeback recently, though he has yet to confirm any career moves, nor has he spoken any more about his ITV exit.
It was previously reported that he could considering a comeback, with sources claiming that some of his former colleagues are believed to be pushing for him to return to work.
‘Since he left This Morning, Phil has been held up by the support of friends like Ant, Dec and Alison Hammond,’ one insider told The Sun.
The source added that some TV executives have contacted Schofield for a possible return to TV, and friends have told him to consider it.
‘Phil is still shell-shocked by everything that happened last year and is happy at the moment to focus on rebuilding his life with the support of his friends and family,’ they said.
‘Whether he will make a comeback – whether it’s on TV or radio – is still undecided but the offers are there if he wants to pursue them,’ they added.
