Bollywood actress Ananya Panday who is currently seen in Call Me Bae series has left everyone impressed with her role. The star kid recently spoke her heart out about the narrative around pitting women against each other. She spoke about how strong her, Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor‘s bond is in real life. Ananya even said that there is space for strong female friendships in the Bollywood industry. She even revealed that she tries to not miss any chance to be there for Sara and Janhvi.
During a conversation in Prime Video’s Maitri: Female First Collective, Ananya Panday spoke about the importance of building a supportive environment for her contemporaries and also said that she believes in the power of female friendships. She said that during her initial years as a woman in the industry, she has now become more vocal about what she stands for. She also said, ‘What keeps me going is seeing change; knowing that speaking up or even through cinema you can actually make an impact. Even if one young girl comes up to me and says I am myself because you are yourself and I feel comfortable in my skin, for me that’s where I have done my job. I think seeing change is a huge reason why I keep going’.

Further in this entertainment news, Ananya even added that people keep pitting women against each other, actresses against actresses, but with Sara and Janhvi Kapoor it’s not a very conscious attempt. She said that they constantly try to be there for each other and support each other very publicly. She said that they are showing people this is how female friendships are supposed to be like as they do not believe any other way.
On the work front, Ananya made her debut with Student of the Year 2 in 2019 and did films like Khaali Peeli, Gehraiyaan, Dream Girl 2, and Kho Gaye Hum Kahaan and more. Watch her Call Me Bae series on Prime Video.
