Regina’s Miller High School spent much of Friday afternoon on lockdown due to threats of a bear mace attack.
According to city police, shortly after 1 p.m. on Friday, police were told that two students were being chased by two or three suspects threatening to assault them with bear mace, and they may have gone into Miller High School.
As officers searched for the suspects, Balfour Collegiate, St. Augustine School, St. Faustina School and Thompson School were also put into secure mode.

Around 3:45 p.m. — school pick-up time — police said they had concluded their search at Miller High School and that all of the lockdowns and alerts were now lifted.
The overall investigation is still ongoing, and police said they will share more updates as they become available.
