- Daniel Dubois shocked the world as he knocked out Anthony Joshua on Saturday
- Tyson Fury was left fuming over the result hitting out at Joshua over the defeat
- Joshua’s defeat means a potential Fury fight is now unlikely to take place
Tyson Fury went into full meltdown mode after watching Anthony Joshua get knocked out after suffering a brutal right hand blow by Daniel Dubois.
Fury who was ringside at Wembley to watch the showdown at Wembley, hit out at the Joshua for being a ‘silly ****’ after losing the bout which, had he won, would have made him a three-time world champion.
However, the night couldn’t have gone any worse for Fury’s rival who hit the canvas three times before the fight was stopped in the fifth round, after Dubois floored the veteran boxer for a fourth and final time.
Not only is the result a huge loss for Joshua but also his fellow Brit Fury, as now a historic fight between the pair for the undisputed crown next year looks to be completely off the cards.
In a video clip posted online, the former world champion who is geared to take on Oleksandr Usyk in their Christmas rematch was caught on camera implying that the bout between himself and Joshua is essentially off because Joshua couldn’t claim the win.

Fury can be heard saying ‘Listen, that’s cost me £150million, the silly ****,” said Fury. “Of course it has he’s f***ed. Turki, you better pay me now.’
In the clip, Fury addresses his excellency Turki Alalshikh who has for ages been vocal about his want to put Fury and Joshua in a ring together.
It looked as if Turki Alalshikh was finally going to get his wish as the two winning fighters between Joshua vs Dubois and Fury vs Usyk would set up a double-header in Saudi Arabia in London in 2025.
However Joshua and Fury both had to play their parts to win their respective fights and unfortunately Joshua was unable to hold up his end of the bargain.
Fans shouldn’t be quick to count out a Fury vs Joshua fight however because if Fury loses his rematch with Usyk, the bout may be revived.
Joshua’s defeat to Dubois means it is unlikely the highly anticipated Joshua vs Fury fight will happen

Joshua’s camp have been clear that his defeat on Saturday night to Dubois does not mark the end of his time in the ring and Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn even hinted at the possibility of Joshua vs Fury.
‘I don’t see it being a fight that ends his [Joshua’s] career, But as I said, he’s in the final chapter or chapters of the career.’ Hearn said.
‘That was a big blow because we fancied winning tonight and fighting the winner of Fury against Usyk.
‘We may end up fighting the loser of that fight, maybe if it’s Tyson Fury.
‘You’ve got the Dubois rematch, you’ve got other fights out there.
‘I think it’s really about returning to the gym and having time off and seeing how you come back with [trainer] Ben [Davison]. A lot depends on how you are performing in the gym.’
