The mid-point of Season 6’s challenges is here, gearing us up for Modern Warfare 3’s last hoorah. With enough tasks, you’ll earn your shot at the latest Aftermarket Part and the final camo reward. Here’s how to complete all MW3 and Warzone Season 6 Week 2 challenges.
All Modern Warfare 3 Season 6 Week 2 challenges
In classic Call of Duty fashion, the Modern Warfare 3 Season 6 Week 2 challenges present a few vague terms. So, if you aren’t sure what they mean, let’s dive into an explainer:
Challenges | How to complete them | Rewards |
---|---|---|
Get 35 Operator Akimbo Kills | Use any weapons that have Akimbo kills (dual types). Handguns primarily work for this. | 2,500 XP |
Get 25 Operator Kills shortly after sprinting | Self-explanatory; just run and shoot. | 5,000 XP |
Get 20 Operator Kills with a weapon set to Burst Fire Mode | Select a weapon with Burst Fire Mode, including the Renetti and DG-56. | 5,000 XP |
Get 20 Operator Kills from behind | Use UAVs to initiate a surprise attack against the enemy. | 5,000 XP |
Get 10 Operator Point Blank or Melee Kills | Get up close and personal with the enemy to get a Point Blank elimination (or use melee for the alternative). | 7,500 XP |
Get 10 Close Calls, or Operator Kills After Death | Close Calls trigger when one’s health is at an all-time low. However, you’ll continue to push through even after. The After Death kills usually occur when you’ve shot your opponent or thrown a grenade just before your demise. | 7,500 XP |
Get two Operator kills with one magazine three times | Be sure to extend your magazine capacity via the Gunsmith to reduce reload times. | 10,000 XP |
All MW3 Zombies Season 6 Week 2 challenges
Take advantage of Season 6’s reduced Schematic cooldowns and free Rift Runs to tackle MW3 Zombies Weekly Challenges. Even if you don’t have many recipes, you can get various perks for free in-game with Mister Peeks’ Easter Eggs.
Challenges | How to complete them | Rewards |
---|---|---|
Get 150 kills with an Akimbo weapon | Same as MW3’s, where you’ll utilize dual handguns or any other special Akimbo builds. | 2,500 XP |
Get 25 Hellhound Kills | Locate any doghouse around the map or initiate contracts. Hellhounds will pretty much show up anywhere, regardless of the Threat Level zone tier. | 5,000 XP |
Get 100 Critical Kills with an Assault Rifle | Hit the enemy on their weak spots (head or armor). | 5,000 XP |
Get 150 Kills with a weapon set to Burst Fire Mode | Equip weapons with Burst Fire Mode, including FR.56 and M16. | 5,000 XP |
Get 50 Melee Mercenary Kills | Find Mercenary Strongholds or Camps and take the enemies down. It’s best to do this in the Low Threat Level zone since they’ll be easier to eliminate. | 7,500 XP |
Get 125 Kills with a Battle Rifle while having at least four Active Perks | Bring along some Perk Colas with you, or find/purchase them in-game. | 7,500 XP |
Get 10 Kills without being hit 20 times | Essentially the same thing as Clean Kills. | 10,000 XP |
All Warzone Season 6 Week 2 challenges
Most Warzone Season 6 Week 2 challenges occur in Urzikstan, one of Call of Duty’s larger maps. However, you can switch up the beat by participating in Purgatory mode, which makes for a great place to complete the remaining tasks.
Challenges | How to complete them | Rewards |
---|---|---|
Get seven Operator Kills or Kill Assists | Simply play through Battle Royale and kill enemies. | 2,500 XP |
Complete 20 Contracts | Try out Elite Contracts for more challenges and high-valued rewards. | 5,000 XP |
Open 30 Loot Caches in the Eastern Region of Urzikstan | Loot in Military Base or Farms. | 5,000 XP |
Open 30 Loot Caches in the Central Region of Urzikstan | Loot in Old Town or Low Town. | 5,000 XP |
Open 30 Loot Caches in the Southern Region of Urzikstan | Loot in City, Suburbs, or Manor. | 7,500 XP |
Open 30 Loot Caches in the North-West Region of Urzikstan | Loot in Resort, Power, Seaport, or Cargo. | 7,500 XP |
Place in the top 10 seven times | Survive through the gas circles in Battle Royale. | 10,000 XP |
Complete any five objectives in MW3, Zombies, or Warzone to get the Jak Lance Aftermarket Part. It’s compatible with the Modern Warfare 2 MX Guardian Shotgun, unleashing three ballistic rivets with one magazine.
The Jak Lance provides Bolt Projectiles, Hipfire/Tac Stance Spread, and better Aim Walking Speed. While it may hinder stats like Fire Rate, Bullet Velocity, and Movement Speed, it’s still a valuable addition to your arsenal. Its unique features make it an exceptional Conversion Kit, especially for smaller maps.
Don’t forget, you can also get your hands on the Jak Salvo Aftermarket Part for the KATT-AMR Sniper Rifle. To unlock this powerful part, achieve any challenges from Week 1. This is a great opportunity to set yourself up for success in the final Week 4, so keep pushing and don’t miss out on this chance before the season ends.
