Govinda made some startling revelations about himself and his wife in one of the old interviews. The actor, who married his childhood sweetheart Sunita, wasn’t a fan of her straightforward nature and stylish personality. In an interview, the actor candidly spoke about his reaction to his wife’s frank nature and the comments he made on her at that time.
As reported by Indian Express, on Simi Garewal’s show, Govinda stated that he was a completely desi person and he was full of desipan. He would get uncomfortable whenever he would see a person who is quite open or frank. About his wife, the Albela actor said, “Badi tez lagti thi mujhe, haath mein kutta, skirt pehne, chewing gum khaate… Seedhe baat nahi karti, chewing gum kha ke baat karti hai. Bade style mein bulati thi mujhe ‘Chi Chi’. Main kehta tha, ‘Tum kutte ko aise style se bulati ho? Thoda lehja theek karo, aur thodi zindagi bhi theek karo apni (I used to find her very forward. She would walk around in short skirts, holding her dog, chewing gum. I would tell her to get her life in order and mind her manners).”
Further in this entertainment news, Govinda’s wife Sunita recently said in a podcast that she never thought she would marry him. She used to often tell the actor that she’s from Bandra and he’s from Virar. The couple got married in 1987 and have two kids, Tina and Yashvardhan.
