The 24th Virtual Annual General Meeting of Union Insurance Co Ltd was held on 29th September 2024.
The AGM was presided over by Vice Chairman of the company Al-haj Mohammed Hasmot Ali, says a press release.
The shareholders approved a 10 per cent cash dividend and expressed their satisfaction with the overall business performance of the company.
After AGM, the 145th Board of Directors Meeting was held.
In the Board of Directors Meeting, Director Al-haj Mohammed Hasmot Ali was unanimously elected as Chairman of the Company and Md Belayet Hossain as Vice Chairman.
Besides, Al-haj Md Azizur Rahman was re-elected as Chairman of the Executive Committee, Jahangir Alam as Chairman of the Claims Committee, Mohammad Faiz as Chairman of the Audit Committee, and MUA Quader as Chairman of the NRC committee.
Al-haj Nuruddin Ahmed was as Chairman of the Finance Committee.
Other directors, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Talukder Md. Zakaria Hossain and Company Secretary Shafquat Moula were also present at the meeting.
