City police are investigating two separate stabbing incidents in Riversdale on the weekend.
Around 8 p.m. on Friday, officers were called to the 300 block of Avenue B South for a report of an injured man who appeared to have been stabbed, police said in a Monday news release.
Officers arrived to find the injured man being treated by paramedics. He was taken to hospital with “what were believe to be non-life-threatening injuries,” the release said.

Around 10:40 p.m. on Sunday, officers responded to a report that a man had been stabbed in the 300 block of Avenue I South, police said in another Monday news release.
They man’s injuries were serious but not life-threatening, the release said. He was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital.
