A 16-year-old pedestrian died Sunday at the scene of a motor vehicle collision in Essex.
Ontario Provincial Police responded just before 7 a.m. to County Road 8 near Britton Road.
Officers said a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle on the roadway.
A male teenager was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers with the west region traffic incident management enforcement team along with OPP from the Essex detachment continue to investigate.
