Saskatoon police are investigating three separate bear spray reports they received on Wednesday, and a fourth incident on Thursday.
Around 3:20 p.m. on Wednesday, officers responded to a call about an injured person in the 2100 block of 22nd Street West. The caller reported the person had been bear sprayed, police said in a Thursday news release.
They arrived to find a man “suffering from the effects of bear spray,” the release said. He was treated by paramedics at the scene.

The suspects fled before officers arrived.
Next, around 5:40 p.m., officers were called about a person being bear sprayed in the 1300 block of 22nd Street West.
They arrived to find a man with injuries from being sprayed with bear spray. He refused medical care, the release said.

Then, around 11:30 p.m., officers were called to the 300 block of Avenue C South for a woman who had been bear sprayed, the release said.
Arriving officers found a woman suffering the effects of bear spray.
“She told officers it happened near the basketball courts by the river,” the release said.
She refused paramedic treatment.
Finally, shortly before 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, police were called to Mount Royal Collegiate after bear spray was discharged in a school hallway.
Police say two 17-year-old students had been fighting, when one of them bear sprayed the other.
Both students fled, though the student who had been bear sprayed later came bac.
Medavie Health Services West and the Saskatoon Fire Department attended to the school to assist anyone experiencing the effects of bear spray., and t school was later evacuated to allow for it to be ventilated.
