- Hunt the Acromantula in the new Creature Expedition event
- Help Hagrid catch the Swooping Evil Magical Creature
- Collect pumpkins in the castle for more rewards
Jam City is celebrating all the thrills and chills of Halloween in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, offering fresh content for HP fans to discover within the Webby award-winning game. In particular, The Hogwarts Diary will be launching on October 23rd, which will open up fresh narratives for you to dive into on a regular basis as you collect puzzle pieces via in-game quests.
Additionally, the latest update to Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is paying tribute to the Dark Arts with a spooky new look across the common rooms and Diagon Alley. You can go on a hunt for House-themed pumpkins too to nab in-game goodies until October 31st.
As for creepy creatures and magical monsters, you can hunt the Acromantula as well in the new Creature Expedition event, or unlock the Swooping Evil Magical Creature to access a Special Adventure – here, you’ll have to lend Hagrid a hand in catching it before it’s too late.
Beyond the castle walls lie plenty of tricks and treats too, like Professor Dumbledore declaring Hogsmeade off-limits due to vampiric rumours milling about. In “The Vampire of Hogsmeade” Side Quest, you’ll need to investigate these rumours to keep them from ruining Halloween at Hogwarts.
All these are simply scratching the surface of what’s in store for you this month, but if you’d love to try something similar, why not take a look at our list of the best narrative adventures to get your fill?
