The winner of an Illinois Lottery ticket has less than two weeks to claim a $250,000 prize won last year.
The lucky ticket was purchased for the Oct. 29, 2023, drawing at Fairplay Finer Foods, located at 2200 South Western Avenue in Chicago. Winners have one year from the original draw date to claim their prizes before they expire. As that date approaches, the Illinois Lottery is advising Lucky Day Lotto players to search their couch cushions and coat pockets for the missing ticket.

The unclaimed ticket is one of seven Illinois Lottery rewards — totaling nearly $4.5 million — that have yet to find their owners. Other missing winners include a ticket purchased at Huck’s on 319 E. Calumet Street in Centralia on March 23, 2024 and a ticket from ARCO purchased on July 6, 2024 at 2758 W. Peterson Avenue in Chicago.
