Varma also urged Salman Khan to respond to Bishnoi, suggesting that failing to do so would portray the actor as cowardly. He emphasised the importance of Khan demonstrating he is a bigger hero than Lawrence Bishnoi, saying, “It is Salman’s responsibility towards his fans to appear as a greater superhero than (Lawrence) Bishnoi.”
The animosity between Bishnoi and Khan dates back to the 1998 blackbuck hunting case, with the gangster openly threatening the actor multiple times. Recently, the Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for a shootout outside Khan’s residence in Bandra on March 22, 2023.
On the professional front, Salman Khan is currently hosting Bigg Boss 18 and filming Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss, set for release on Eid next year.
