Despite getting placed on the injury report with a knee injury, Patriots quarterback Drake Maye insists he will not miss their showdown with the Jaguars in the NFL London Games.
Speaking to media across the pond on Friday, the rookie shared that he is ‘Feeling good. Ready to go for Sunday.’
When asked about the injury, Maye kept his answer straightforward and remained adamant about giving the NFL’s UK fanbase a show.
‘Injuries are something that you don’t really try to share with the media,’ Maye said. ‘Looking forward to Sunday.’
Maye was promoted to starting quarterback after Jacoby Brissett’s unimpressive streak was put to rest after a 15-10 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Oct. 6.

After winning their opening game against the Cincinnati Bengals, New England lost their next four outings to the Seahawks, Jets, 49ers, and Dolphins.
The North Carolina product showed flashes of his potential in his first start against the Houston Texans. However, the Patriots would still lose the game 41-21.
Maye completed 20 of 33 attempts for 243 yards and three touchdowns. On the other end, he was intercepted twice and sacked four times in their losing effort in Foxborough.
His only other appearance was in a blowout defeat to the Jets on Sep. 9. The No 3 overall pick completed four of eight attempts for 22 yards and was sacked twice in a 24-3 demolition.
