The highly coveted 2024 Honor of Kings Championship has just kicked off and it’s already delivered some intense competition as the top 16 teams from around the world battled through the group stages. Now, with this week’s results in, only eight teams remain, all vying for the title of the ultimate champion.
The top two teams from each group have earned their place in the quarterfinals, setting the stage for an exciting weekend of best-of-five knockout rounds. These matches are expected to put participants’ skills to the test as each group winner will face a runner-up from another group in the first round of eliminations.
The quarterfinals will kick off with Team Secret taking on Blacklist International, followed by Dominator Esports and Team Falcons, Fearless Esports HK and BOOM Esports, finally concluding with Nova Esports and Black Shrew Esports. As these teams prepare for their quarterfinal matchups, the stakes have never been higher.
Once this fiery weekend is over, we’ll have our finalists, who will battle it out in a best-of-seven showdown on October 27th. With the championship title on the line, every decision and every strategy will count as the two squads will aim to make their mark in Honor of Kings history. Add to that $300,000 from the $1M prize pool, there’s a lot to strive for.
