The Windsor Police Service is continuing its search for a second suspect after more than $7,500-worth of name-brand footwear was looted from a local business.
In a statement posted Friday morning on X, formerly known as Twitter, the Windsor Police Service said one arrest has been made in connection to the break-and-enter, and a warrant has been issued for a second suspect.

The investigation follows a break-in at a Windsor business located in the 3100 block of Howard Avenue on Sept. 23.
When Windsor police responded to the break-in, officers discovered that two suspects had broken into the business and stolen around 100 pairs of name-brand shoes.
The estimated value of the pilfered footwear exceeded $7,500.
Police said the suspects loaded the stolen merchandise into a vehicle, only to return to the business later in a different car to steal additional items.
The Windsor Police Target Base Unit is leading the investigation.
Police are seeking public assistance in locating a 41-year-old suspect, described as white male, standing around five feet eight inches tall, with a medium build, brown hair, and brown eyes.
The suspect is facing charges of break-and-enter, possession of break-and-enter tools, wearing a disguise to commit an offence, operation of a vehicle while prohibited, and failing to comply with a release order.
