- Wuthering Waves version 1.3 phase II is out now
- It brings a plethora of in-game events
- Version 1.3 previously introduced a whole new area to explore
It’s been a few weeks since the release of Wuthering Waves version 1.3, the newest update to Kuro Games’ hit ARPG. It introduced a whole host of additional content, such as the Black Shores region, two new resonators and additional storyline content. And while phase II doesn’t include as much additional content, there’s plenty to enjoy in the events arriving as part of it.
To start you’ll have Small Wooly, Big Adventure as you engage in a new companion story with the character Jinzhou. After which there’s the slightly less in-depth double whammy of two new draw events, with Prevail the Lasting Night featuring Convene as its central resonator, while Verdant Summit will bring the weapon Convene to the fore.
Finally, the Lollo Campaign will get a rerun, and Infinite Battle Simulation offers the opportunity for you to collect limited-time event rewards and currencies. That’s not even mentioning the latest Wuthering Exploration event or Chord Cleansing. So if you’ve been holding off on jumping into version 1.3, now’s the time!
Back to the shore
I admit, it’s a bit lacklustre that the second phase of this new update seems to mainly be events. Other games like Genshin Impact, for better or worse, tend to split up major content additions if they have more than one phase in an update. Still, if you’re looking for a bit more story content and other additional opportunities to earn more characters, these aren’t the worst results.
